Why Donate?

Because we create conditions for connecting.

19 Carter was born from the dream to connect people. We are open during the day Monday through Saturday, and many evenings for various events! Here, you can connect over a cup of tea or coffee, laugh with us at the Improv nights, be inspired by music and movies, learn about history and health, play games and make puzzles, and create art together. With your support, 19 Carter has become the antidote to loneliness and isolation for hundreds of people each month.

19 Carter organizes a variety of events throughout the year, including art workshops, lectures, concerts, and social gatherings. Our lively jazz jams and open mic nights have a monthly draw of people of all ages and abilities. We are dedicated to the delivery of quality and enriching experiences to our lovely patrons.

Because we keep ticket prices low and host many free events.

19 Carter is dedicated to keeping our events accessible to all - many of our events are free or have a $5 suggested donation, and all our events have a Pay What You Can option. No matter what your financial situation, you are welcome here!
